Please read my wife's review (Yoga and Yorkies). I put the machine together for her. It took me about a half an hour to put the pieces together and set up the machine. The feet on the stand are covered with a nubby rubber which keeps the machine stable on carpet. It is very sturdy. My wife wanted the $900 model originally but I talked her into getting this model, and she is very happy.

I took some pilates reformer classes and wanted a home machine. I read all of the reviews and my husband bought this machine for me from Amazon. I am 5' 10" tall and the machine is very comfortable. It is quiet and smooth operating. It comes with two DVDs. The beginner reformer DVD is helpful, however, you do need a remote control as the instructor does not complete a full set of each of the exercises. I love the free form cardio rebounder. It feels like you are flying when you jump up and down. I play tennis, box, run and ride my bike and I found the rebounder to be a good, low impact work out. The cords are easy to set. Please note that the foot stand does not tilt or adjust, but that has not been a problem for me.
I was confused about how to shorten the cords and called Stamina's customer service. The representative was very helpful and told me that you can loop the cords more than once in the area provided under the machine. She gave me advice as to the correct lengthh of the cords. I am really impressed that I got hold of someone right away and they were helpful and pleasant even though I had to call a few times for clarification on set up.
The machine has a stand upon which it sits. It is heavy and large, so make sure you read the dimensions and you have a area large enough to use the machine and to store it. I am very happy with this machine.

Truly a wonderful product! I have no regrets with this purchase. I powerwalk and wanted something that combines both cardio and toning to mix it up, this works out perfect. I also get the best lower body workout when using all 4 power cords (I don't have to worry if I'm doing a squat correctly on the reformer) and I lighten up the power cords when working out the upper body. Don't forget you may need to adjust the two knots on the cable grips to fit your height, super simple, also the grips are soft and fuzzy which makes it comfortable when working the upper body. When the shipment arrived it was in perfect shape.

I purchased this product several weeks ago. I am amazed at how wonderful it is. The platform and hand straps glide smoothly and quietly. The machine and platform were easy to assemble. (Be sure to assemble where you are going to have it set up as it is heavy. Also be sure that the pin that holds the platform in place is secure so the platform does not glide and pinch your fingers as you unfold the machine.) I am currently using Level I Pilates and Level I Rebounder videos and they are quite challenging. I think this machine will be great forever. There is also a chart that comes with many exercises shown so you do not even need the video. I like the platform as you can vacuum underneath it and do not have to move anything. I am 62 with bad knees and feel very comfortable with both the rebounder and the motion of the pilates.

I'm so glad I got this. Amazon shipped quickly. The item was as described. I had a minor issue with the stand and Stamina took care of it quickly and efficiently. I love the reformer and the workout it provides. It is hard to believe the workout the rebounder gives with low impact. 15 minutes you really feel it in the hips and thighs. I look forward to working out on it. Amazon was the best deal out there.
