Apparently I must be the only one in the reviews that is not impressed with this CD. It's only my opinion but it didn't do anything for me. It sounds too synthesized, old 80's style of new age music. It did not flow either, sudden stops to the tracks were not conducive to meditation. There are much better artists out there, Deuter being one of them.

This is an album of very relaxing music. If you like new age music and are looking for something relaxing, this is a good one. Interesting use of instruments I don't normally hear in new age music, like reed and woodwinds. Most of what I hear from this genre is all synths and percussion. You get that also, but in a relaxing way. :)
I like taking a long hot bath with this is the background. It is the perfect soundtrack for chilling out and relaxing.

I play this almost every night as I go to sleep. I rarely get to the end before falling asleep. It seems to me as though it never starts in the same place twice- so it's like a new CD each time. It's not like you're anticipating the same melody over and over. I have several soothing CDs which I have purchased thru Amazon. They are all unique, and I love them all. I find the reviews to be reliable when I am looking to buy more CDs like these.

This is a very good CD. I often listen to it at night when my mind is going too fast and can't seem to quiet down. This does the trick. It would also be great for massage.
