Silence is golden. The next best thing is this CD if you live where you cannot hear the ocean's waves beat against the shore, rainfall in a rainforest, gurgling brooks, mountain streams, or the sound of songbirds. The wildlife species featured on the last track (Sienna Sky) are the "chorus frog, western meadowlark, lincoln's sparrow, yellow throat".
The background music is designed with rhythms to slow down the heart rate to about 60 beats per minute. It is blended with natural sounds from water and wildlife. The overall effect is very relaxing. I have used it with yoga. It would probably work just as well with Yang style Tai Chi. Program time is 59 minutes: 56 seconds.

It took me a few tries to get through the entire CD. Everytime I started to listen to it I would doze off and miss sections. Definitely relaxing. I like the different types of water sounds, the sea, the stream & rain. A nice mix of sounds.

A Nice Sampling of 4 different types of nature sounds with soft New-Age music. If you own no relaxation CDs, this might help you decide what sort of nature sounds are for you.
Personally, I usually don't enjoy animal sounds, but the bird track here (Sienna Sky) isn't too long for me.
My favorite bird sound recording is Songbird Symphony by Northsound. Sadly, it is not available as an MP3. But it's classical music, which I usually prefer.
