Kindergarten GameSpoiler August 3, 2010 WildOat 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
The writers, staffed on this magazine, think they are cute and witty. They talk to the unseen public as though the reader is a grade school dropout. Spoil the upcoming game is their mission, but are quick to point out they won't. The same 2-year old attitude prevails at g4tv. I don't understand the goo-goo-gah-gah attitude at both sites. It's that, I think I'm funny stomp my foot arrogance, that drives the potential new gamer away. This and g4tv comes across so infantile. I gave two stars because of the photos in the mag, by the way, is always better than that of the actual game. These wanna-bees, should stick to writing graffiti on the via duct. At least then we might appreciate the puns at a glance.
If your a gamer its almost a must. July 12, 2010 J. Bolczak (Hawaii) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you watch G4's X-Play this is the written version. If you game or know a gamer and want the newsiest info with out heading to the net. Get this mag.
Can Never Go wrong with this one May 26, 2010 S.Khan (NYC) Its great great magazine about gaming and fair reviews .its the only mag where you`ll really get something to read about gaming and its future ,publish Great interviews by pioneers in gaming field .Great articles though wii and pc coverage isn`t enough but i assume you`ll not mind it as their hype is taken over by ps3 and xbox .Game pro was a joke with just screen shots usually of demo of game and nothing else a .Choose this gaming mag and you`ll never go wrong about gaming .

Sweet! I need the multiplatform reviews. January 13, 2010 Keogh (Denver) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These started coming sooner than I had anticipated. So, don't let the 'could take 6 months to deliver' disclaimers deter you from buying through Amazon... you can't beat the price and Game Informer seems to be on top of the issue. More about the Mag - there is user feedback (always some good tips), previews (tons of ink on these screen shots) and reviews (well written and concise in their feedback). If you need a one stop shop (without a bunch of ads or one off articles) for all your game research needs (PC, 360, PS2) then this is the best choice. I just wish that I worked for them reviewing games. They do tend to pick the ones that I find most interesting to review.
