Product Description Amos thinks he's gotten away from it all, heading off to the wilderness after the wild life in the city leads him right into an early retirement. Dave thinks he's gotten over Amos, moving on with his life and driving himself to success at all costs. They've gone their separate ways, and think they're happy with what they've made of their lives. So what happens when these two meet up on Dave's long overdue vacation, forced on him by his personal assistant? Sparks fly, that's what, and the two of them set about learning that maybe they hadn't gotten over each other as well as they thought. Moving from the rugged Colorado mountains to the bright lights of the big city and back again, Stress Relief follows Dave and Amos as they learn that they can balance two very different lives as long as they're willing to compromise a little. And with these two hard headed guys? That's quite a balancing act. Sexy, fast-paced and full of love and life, Stress Relief has it all. Danger, pain, separation and reconciliation. BA Tortuga is the author of Rain and Whiskey, Racing the Moon and Timeless Hunger.

| Customer Reviews: Stress Relief July 11, 2007 M. Nix 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
High-powered businessman David is burned out. Long business trips, no sleep, and too much stress have been taking their toll on him. When he's forced to take a vacation in Colorado, he expects to kill a little time and go right back to work. David's plans go awry, however, when his wilderness guide turns out to be his ex-lover, Amos, who left the city to get away from stress after having a serious heart attack. The attraction is still there and they begin an affair, but can their rekindled love survive long business trips and the stress of David's job?
Stress Relief is an enjoyable story of second chances. Amos has found a home and a life he loves, and David's reappearance makes him think about things he thought he'd forgotten. David is an incredibly driven, almost obsessive businessman, and his frenetic lifestyle is killing him. Although the two men clearly love each other, they both have issues to work through concerning how their past relationship ended. They also have to make it through the serious consequences of David's devotion to his work. BA Tortuga did a good job of showing the conflict between the two men while showing how much they loved each other despite their differences. If you like stories of second-chance love, pick Stress Relief up.

Decent, but too much stereotyping June 14, 2007 K. Peoples (Arlington, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Promising premise, but the author spent so much time developing the sex scenes that she didn't get the two main characters developed much past the stereotypes they are based upon. One character (Amos) is recovering from a stress related heart attack by becoming a mountain man. His lover, Dave, drives himself beyond a physical breakdown to make lots of money and achieve the top of his profession, to prove he didn't need the love of his life (Amos). Neither could forget his partner, after they broke up. Their reunion led to renewal of their relationship, which "saved" each from the stress that nearly killed each. Too many stereotypes, not enough character development. Pretty good sex scenes, plenty of variety. If you're looking for romance, three stars. If you're looking for sex scenes, about three and a half to four stars. Not bad, but could've been better with more character development and less emphasis on the sex scenes.
Touching and realistic! Love this one. March 25, 2007 R.Parklane (Tokyo, Japan) I have many favorites from this writer and have been waiting for this one to be released in print. This one is for keeps. I love Dave and Amos and their story is filled with pain and regrets but of course ends on a happy note, which is the reason we enjoy M/M! I find the plot realistic and Dave and Amos are so easy to relate to. The story starts off really well when Dave and Amos met years after a terrible break-up which left both heartbroken. Their reunion, the rekindling of their love which was never lost and Amos assuming the caretaker role are some emotional yet passionate story telling by Tortuga. Love this.
